Week 7 Journey and Blue moon

 [Journey] 

As he runs through the beautiful fall leaves he feels a sense of urgency. His run turns into a sprint and the joyful sensation within him turned into an intense escape. The once beautiful fall leaves that we’re slowly dropping and swirling around the woods have stopped. They’re slowly changing colors one by one. The happy warm colors are decaying. Dougs natural response is to panic. He runs through the woods hoping to make it out and onto the mainland. As he travels for hours he can’t seem to find his way out. Doug comes to the realization that he is stuck, but he knows something weird is going on. Almost like he’s living in an illusion. Doug decides to embrace the journey and travel deep into the mysterious woods. As he continues to march through he comes across a little critter, it resembled a squirrel except it wasn’t one. It looked like it was about two pounds, it had fuzzy brown hair, and an orange nose. It started to follow Doug through his journey in the woods. While Doug was exploring he noticed that the animal began to take the lead, and although he didn’t wanna follow it he also didn’t want to leave it. As Doug followed the animal he realized it had lead him out of the woods, finally Doug could see the light blue sky and the beautiful autumn leaves again. From that day forward Doug valued his journey as he made a new long life friend. 


[Blue Moon] 

I am from a different galaxy hidden beyond the stars. Me and my people have been researching and observing earth for quite sometime now as they posses many similar attributes as us. For the past decade, we have accepted and respected earths development as a planet but it has been brought to out attention that they’re copying our ways and are actually a threat to our people. Initially we had noticed the similar attributes of both planets. Similar biomes and environment: jungles, deserts, grassland, and also green grass, leaves, trees, and plants. Planet earth even started developing more modernly as ages went on, they were always a few steps behind us but were always on the right trail. Planet Gordan, my planet, has let this slide for far too long. Recently, we spotted clones. Exact replicas of people from our planet. We didn’t believe it at first but after we followed each version of the person on both planets we learned they were the same. Knowing this, our planet has no other decision but to end the existence of planet earth.

Week 10 [Iceberg & Last Lap]

 [Iceberg]  I have been in the food industry for awhile now, and let me tell ya, it is so hard to find normal people. You always think “huh, they seem pretty cool and normal, nope! Their is always some thing bad and then I as the General Manager will have to come fix it. Right now I am stuck in one of those situations. My most recent manager hire is Bernard, he’s been in training for awhile now, but we’ve finally gotten him promoted as a kitchen manager. The only problem is that Bernard is very sketchy. I’ve come to find out that Bernard has been lying to us about his history after his background check came. He has had federal charges with stealing and selling fake products. Not to mention i have been hearing rumors circulating around the store that Bernard has been asking people for money to help pay off his own rent. Week 3 Journal

  You find yourself facing--or know someone who is facing--a situation that offers no solution. Any solution would be painful or costly. Who are these people and how did they come to be such a mess? Make it up, think it through. Down here in the streets of Chicago it ain’t pretty, people are getting shot and killed daily. Mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, you name it. People like me are born into this life. I didn’t choose this life, it chose me. Life isn’t all happy with rainbows and unicorns, it will kick you on to your knees and it is up to you in how you want to respond. The world is a dark dark place especially where I am from.
